• OOC drama will not be tolerated within this game. You, as a player, are expected to treat other players with respect. We understand that it is sometimes hard to get along with certain people, but you are required to try. Bringing OOC issues into the game in any way will result in removal (your personal feelings about another writer manifesting themselves in your character(s), or manipulating a storyline with knowledge you received ooc are examples of this behavior.)

However, OOC issues do (and will) arise. When this happens you are asked to e-mail the moderator (theundergroundmod@gmail.com) and explain the issue, including those who are involved and your side of the story. We will then contact the other person(s) for their side and make a decision based on all the information. In some instances all parties might be removed from the game.

• God-modding is just as unacceptable as OOC drama. All players should agree and have knowledge of an upcoming plot BEFORE it happens. Likewise, manipulating or badgering a player to cooperate with a plot OOC will not be allowed. These are grounds for removal from the game.

• Writers are required to participate in two threads a month (one must be completed), and post AT LEAST two journal entries per month. One liner entries do not count. Activity check will be posted on the 20th of each month, removals will be done on the 1st of the following month.

• We are not epilogue compliant. However, while this game is AU we expect characters to maintain some element of their personality and alliance as established in the Harry Potter series. Ron Weasley and Draco Malfoy will not have a love affair, and Hermione Granger will not become a Death Eater. There are games on this site with completely AU premises if you wish to write in that nature.

• This game will include mature and dark themed content (graphic violence, sex, and death to name a few), there is no age limit to join but you are joining with the knowledge that your friends page might be a depressing place to be. Likewise, we will not require censorship of commonly placed graphics such as blood spatters from our writers. However, warnings will be posted for any threads. If you have objections to the above statements then we recommend you do not join [info]under_ground.

• The death of any character must be approved by the moderator, and agreed upon by any character and writer who might be affected by the death. To gain approval an e-mail must be sent to the mod (theundergroundmod@gmail.com).

• Game wide plot for each month will be established through a monthly plot calendar. Writers are expected to participate (either through thread or journal reaction) to these events.

• Players are encouraged to create their own plot. Personal plots (involving relationships, social gatherings etc) are accepted, provided that your character allows time to also be involved in the conflict. Even neutral characters should react to game wide events, or occasionally be present when they happen. Small duels or battles are also acceptable, even encouraged.

• As a rule, any battle or altercation involving more than four people should be sent to the moderator via e-mail (theundergroundmod@gmail) for approval as should any plot that will involve destruction of property or character death.

E-mails regarding plot should be as detailed as possible including the date it will happen, the people involved, and any potential injuries or damage. The moderator reserves the right to reject any plot.

• [info]under_ground imposes a three character limit for all writers. In specific circumstances we will allow a writer to pick up a fourth character. This will be considered on a case by case basis by the moderator.

• All contact with the moderator is to be done by e-mail (theundergroundmod@gmail.com). IMs or private messages will not be accepted.

• Gary Stue and Mary Sue need not apply to this game. You will be rejected.
